Applied Materials Safety Engineer Manager in Rehovot, Israel

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage EHS team supporting construction projects & Campus services groups.

  • Coach, mentor and supervise EH&S team to implement the EH&S management systems to minimize the risks to employees customers and the environment

  • Under limited supervision, set up and maintenance of the EH&S system to drive continuous improvements. Supervises direct reports in their assigned activities with specific responsibility for staffing, technical leadership within the group, staff professional/managerial/ leadership skills and career development.

  • Maintain communication channel with site/location functions.

  • Under limited supervision, ensures proper investigations of accident / incidents conducted for EH&S events and drives corrective actions.

  • Under limited supervision, track and trend local EH&S legislation and take appropriate action to comply with requirements

  • Review and report EH&S progress and performance for assigned site/function

  • Ensures compliance with required codes, standards and regulations

  • Under minimal supervision, oversees accident / incident investigations and analyzes pertinent data. Documents results.

What you should have?

  • BSc. In Engineering (preferably in constructions Engineering)

  • 3 + years as a certified safety manager / lead

  • 6 + years of relevant work experience in the EHS domains, preferably in high-tech industries.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable regional and local EHS regulations and standards.

  • Full proficiency in English.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
