Applied Materials Software Team Leader in Rehovot, Israel
We are looking for a highly talented SW Team Leader to join our Product software development team. As a Team Leader you will make an impact on product capabilities and software design, while being surrounded by a strong technical team.
what you'll be doing
You will lead a team of SW developers, automation developers, as well as quality assurance engineers.
Perform management responsibilities for mentoring and leading of developers and manual QAs, mange project tasks for self and team from end to end
Responsible for technical aspects of the image processing team.
Implement and deliver high quality software, perform code/design review to ensure adherence to Applied Materials technical standards
Code, test, deploy SW components with developers within a Scrum team
Look beyond the status quo and identify areas of constant change/improvement
Work closely with other development, testing, implementation teams within the group
Up to 40% hands on
What should you have?
2 years of experience as a development Team Leader\Team Manager
5+ years of experience in Java, C++, C# or Python development
B.Sc. in Computer Science, SW Engineering, or equivalent degree.
Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
Passion for leading and working with people
Experience in agile development process methodologies
High standards for code quality, testing and performance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent learning skills
A true team player, with great leadership and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated, able to work independently and apply own initiative
Advantages:
Experience in Python development - big advantage
Knowledge in semiconductors industry
