Applied Materials Director, Global Field Group - Finance - (M6) in Santa Clara, California
This is a dynamic role within Global Field Group (GFG) Finance to partner with Sales Operations Execs and Account General Managers (AGMs) worldwide to provide overall financial field support, drive field resource productivity, partner w AGMs to support company transition towards enhanced terms, develop and implement strategies to optimize Days Sales Outstanding and cash flow improvement. Provides leadership and manage worldwide team to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Field Resources / Productivity
Drive quarterly HC and Budgeting process worldwide.
Oversee the development and management of field spend, forecast and financial plans for the worldwide sales organization, ensuring accuracy and alignment with targets.
Partner w Sales Ops Exec to establish productivity targets to drive field optimization.
Establish financial metrics to assist in ensure field resources are placed to drive optimal financial return.
Enhanced Terms Support
Active partner w AGMs during enhanced terms negotiations to drive optimal outcome.
Partner w WWOPs to provide insights on cost impact to AGMs on push out/ cancellation etc.
Drive quarterly report out to AGMs on cost recovery on customer cancellation/ churn
Drive overall Field support & execution.
Quarterly Account Review Financials (Pricing/Margin/Backlog etc) present to Sales Ops Execs.
Drive financial insights to assist AGMs to deliver on financial company targets.
Establish a business framework to optimize extended terms request. Drive BU and Account teams for a ‘return’
Drive and shape DSO improvement
Ensure Sales Incentive Plans is structured to drive optimal financial performance

U.S. Salary Range:
$172,000.00 - $236,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
